CUTEA SLIM ME - ORGANIC HERBAL BLEND

Organic herbs & spices have been blended to create this nourishing tonic, a lovely tea to assist the body to metabolize more efficiently. 

There is no magic potion for weight loss. For full benefits we recommend drinking this tea in conjunction with the commencement of a regular exercise regime and maintaining a balanced diet, including reducing consumption of simple carbohydrates and limiting refined sugars, alcohol, preservatives and artificial ingredients.The rule of thumb? Expend more energy than you consume.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Consume twice daily, morning afternoon. We do not recommend drinking this tea after 5pm as it contains caffeine.

Brew 2g (approx 1tspn) of Slim Me Organic in one cup of almost boiling water for 3-6 minutes.

(If used in conjunction with our Detox tea, we recommend consuming Slim Me in the morning and Detox Me in the evening. Detox Me does not contain caffeine.)

 

WHAT'S IN OUR SLIM ME TEA?

Green Tea:  Apart from notable health benefits for the whole body, green tea may assist the body's ability to elevate metabolic rate, increase fat oxidation and even improve insulin regulation. This is due to the high levels of catechins, antioxidants and caffeine present in green tea, which stimulate the central nervous system.

Yerba Mate: This herb from South America is known for improving such things as mental clarity and vitality. Apart from containing amino acids, vitamins, minerals antioxidants, theobromine and theophylline, yerba mate also contains caffeine, even though herbs in generally are usually caffeine free. These components all assist to stimulate the central nervous system causing thermogenesis, suppress appetite, increase urine output and may assist to relax muscles.

Pu-erh Tea: This tea is processed differently than other tea, undergoing an aging processes. Similar to the two ingredients mentioned above, antioxidants and other substances in pu-erh assist in stimulation of the central nervous system, help the body to metabolize fat, may help reduce cholesterol levels and promote heart health. Pu-erh may also help to break down and eliminate body toxins which contribute to weight gain.

Dandelion Leaf: Dandelion leaves contain calcium, zinc, potassium, fibre, iron, along with vitamins A, B, C and D. As well as supporting liver function, dandelion leaves offer support to the digestive system. This herb may also encourage fat metabolisation and help promote normal blood sugar levels. Dandelion leaf is a natural diuretic.

Ginger Root: Delicious ginger root is a negative calorie herb with thermogenic properties (raises your body temperature, assisting to increase metabolism). It also aids digestion, is a known appetite suppressant, immune system booster and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Fennel Seeds: These little powerhouse seeds are known to have diuretic properties and assist with digestion. They help to increase nutrient absorption from foods and therefore may be an aid to suppress hunger. They also assist to speed up metabolism.

Green Cardamom Pods: Cardamom has long been used in ayurvedic remedies to help clear the body of toxins. The powerful nutrients in this beautiful spice, such as melatonin, may assist in increasing the burning process of fats in the body. Cardamom may also be of assistance for improving digestion and increasing metabolism.

Turmeric Powder: The primary active ingredient present in turmeric is curcumin, which is a known anti-inflammatory. This may assist with inflammation associated with obesity. Turmeric aids digestion and metabolism and may offer a boost to fat burning as well as the immune system.

Cinnamon Chips: Cinnamon may help to suppress the appetite and is known to assist in lowering "bad" cholesterol levels, improving metabolism and regulating blood sugar levels. Our cinnamon chips are not of the cheaper cinnamon cassia form, but true cinnamon verum.
