A favourite in Indian and Asian cuisine, fennel seeds can be dry roasted or crushed for use in curries, casseroles, satays and sauces. They impart an aniseed flavour and also have the ability to bring other flavours together in a dish.
These little powerhouse seeds are also known to have diuretic properties and assist with digestion. They help to increase nutrient absorption from foods and therefore may be an aid to suppress hunger. They also assist to speed up metabolism.
