CINNAMON POWDER Cinnamomum zeylanicum

Most of the cinnamon found in our foods and purchased from supermarkets is known as Cinnamon Cassia (Cinnamomum Cassia). It is the most commonly used cinnamon. This is not "true" cinnamon, but a cheaper imitation. It's also not from the same plant, Cinnamon Verum.

True Cinnamon:

is primarily cultivated in Sri Lanka and Madagascar, and just some of the health benefits which may be derived from this spice are:
